Our Team

Kristie Hale

store manager

My interest in travel started as a young and adventurous backpacker where I realised the joy, education and growth that travel had brought into my world. I was inspired to be part of helping others with creating life changing travel experiences and turning their travel dreams into reality.

My career in the travel industry began with the completion of a certificate three in Heritage and Interpretative Tourism, followed by a certificate three in Tourism & Retail Sales. Armed with the training, enthusiasm and a passion for travel, I embarked on my first job in the travel industry in 2011. Since then I have worked in the industry as a Travel Advisor and I am now proud to be the Store Manager for Burnie Brae Travel Connections. In 2018 I was awarded 'Finalist in the National Travel Industry Awards - For Best Travel Agency Manager Retail Single Location. My love and passion for sharing, discovering and creating travel is very rewarding. I look forward to seeing you in our “one stop shop”, inspiring, fulfilling and meeting all your travel needs.

Nicole Nardini

travel consultant

I was born in Italy and for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to travel the world. After I graduated in tourism, I decided to move to Australia and I have lived in Brisbane for the past six years. As a travel agent I have had the chance to visit Singapore, New Zealand and New Caledonia. However my passion for travel developed when I was younger and I was lucky enough to visit most countries in Europe, including Spain, Croatia and the UK. My curiosity in discovering new cultures and my passion for voyages, makes me a very enthusiastic and thorough travel agent.

I was a lucky enough recently to travel to the west coast of the United States, Canada and Alaska. I loved the opportunity to travel through the Canadian Rockies the scenery was just amazing. The highlight however for me was to fly in by float plane to the Great Bear Lodge situated in the wilderness of British Columbia. Got to see lots of wild bears at close range which was amazing.
